Mayor

Welcome to Hickman County, Tennessee. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as your County Mayor.

Hickman County is a special place-not simply because of our natural beauty, our farms, our communities, and our history, but because of the people who call it home. We are a county built on hard work, faith, family, and neighbors helping neighbors. Those values have shaped our past, and I believe they should continue to guide us as we plan for our future.

As County Mayor, my commitment is to serve the people of Hickman County with honesty, responsibility, and respect. County government belongs to the people, and my goal is to make your government accessible, accountable, and focused on providing the services our citizens depend upon.

We have tremendous opportunities ahead of us. As Hickman County grows and changes, we must work together to encourage economic opportunity, support our schools and emergency services, strengthen our communities, protect our natural resources, and plan responsibly for future generations. Progress should never mean forgetting who we are or what makes Hickman County such a wonderful place to live.

Whether you have lived here your entire life, recently made Hickman County your home, are considering moving or doing business here, or are simply visiting, I hope this website helps you find the information and resources you need. My door is always open, and I welcome your ideas, concerns, and involvement. County government works best when we communicate, listen to one another, and work together toward common goals.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the county that my family and I call home. I look forward to working alongside you to make Hickman County an even better place for our children, our grandchildren, and the generations that follow.

God bless you, and God bless Hickman County.
